When I want to change a release to which a feature belongs, I often want to change it to a release in the same product (e.g.: I don't have resources to finish it in this release so move it to the next one). Right now, I have to scroll through the entire list of releases and can sometimes accidentally choose a release that's in a different product if they are named similarly.
I would like the drop down list to begin with the product releases for the product in which I am already working to help avoid this error.
We would like to see this same smart logic anywhere you have to make a drop down selection. The system should be smart enough that it orders the drop down list starting with the product specific options for the product you are currently working in. This would apply to linking and associating Initiatives, and Goals as well. This way you don't have to scroll through everything and possibly make mistakes in the process.
We really need this also.. I'd probably give all of my votes to this ONE feature until it's fixed.
At the VERY least.. you should display all of the 'CURRENT PRODUCTS' releases AT THE TOP, THEN, after a line separator, all other projects.. I find it rather unlikely that I move features between products, but I suppose it happens. I personally think that should be a DIFFERENT dialog somewhere else.. "Move feature to different product"
Yes we really need this. Our drop downs are far too cumbersome.
