Roadmap Timeline: Improve "add release to timeline" drop down


  • Timeline view: Add Releases menu challenging to scroll through because we have so many products and product lines. 
    • a) Need to be able to select all/none with ability to manually deselect items (like the Portfolio screen). 
    • b) Need to also collapse/expand so you don't have to scroll down through all of the product lines and products -- it's painful. 
    • c) Need for the drop down to stay open until you're done selecting. Right now it closes after a few seconds. 
    • d) bonus: Ability to change navigation drop down and have it automatically populate the release timeline view with all of the product releases contained within the navigation choice (so if it's a product, just those releases, if it's a product line, all releases across all products in that product line).

    Thanks for the suggestions. We're in the midst of grooming our idea backlog. This is an idea that has been shipped with a variety of upgrades to the user experience of the Releases dropdown.
