I want to communicate to my clients what's in the parking lot but when I add it to the timeline view, it's to the left of all of my releases which implies those features are being delivered first. If I create a release with a far out date as a workaround, it's not quite right either because it implies all the features are coming at a specific time or range of time (month, year, etc.).
I want to add parking lots to the timeline view and have them appear on the right of dated releases, in the order that they appear on my feature board. It makes sense also because it's consistent with the view on the feature board.
The main advantage of the timeline view is the ability to display release description, goals, initiatives etc.

We currently have ample reporting through the Pivot and List reports, which allow you to create key information regarding the backlog.
The Features Roadmap page is timeline based and is focused around releases and features which have not yet been prioritized, while the parking lot represent items which do not yet have a timeline. As such, we do not have plans to incorporate it into the Roadmap page.
However, with the updates to the Reports page, we hope that this will help you to report on this key information.
