Search by prefix or # when promoting Idea to Feature
When promoting an Idea to an already existing feature it would be great to search by the product prefix and/or number. The words of the feature are searchable but the pre-fix and number are not. I think there may be other places in the app when searching that this is true too.

Thank you for your idea. Currently the reference number is searchable, but it will only return results when the entire reference number is included (for example ABC-317.) We explored making a change here to search by partial strings but determined that it would return so many results that it would not be as helpful as intended.
At this time given the explanation above and other priorities, we are unlikely to make a change here. We hope you can understand.

I agree that searching for "317" and finding "ABC-53179" would not be useful and would return too many results. But I think it would be useful for a search for "317" to find "ABC-317" to remove the need to always type the "ABC-" prefix when searching.
