Remove welcome banner after X amount of Aha! usage

Currently users have to actively close the Welcome Center banner to make it go away. It is very common to see long term users with that banner still showing and completely ignoring it. The downside is that it it taking up some of their vertical screen real estate. Could we consider logic around removing the banner after X amount of time of Aha! usage?
