Home page customization to include Product selection

As a user, I would like to keep my home page setting to the Storyboard for a specific product in our Product line. Currently, I can set the Storyboard to be the default but it will use that for whatever product is selected in the dropdown list from the upper left. I can understand that logic but having further control over my experience with a Product setting on the Home page setting page could reduce confusion and increase the UX for users.
