When using the score cards to estimate efforts, as done here https://support.aha.io/hc/en-us/articles/211620626-Estimate-effort-using-custom-scorecards, you are not able to show this effort over time. If I use release quarter, for example, it will only place the score in the month the release is completed in. If a release goes on for more then one time period (quarter in my example), the effort is only shown in the quarter it is completed in. Which means I am never able to see a true number of the amount of resources being used per time period, because it only totals the release being completed. As a portfolio manager I should be able to view resources required over time (when I use a custom score card), so I can better plan my team's projects when they required more then one department.
Thank you for sharing this idea! We are excited to share that Enterprise+ customers can now set team-based estimates and visualize each team’s workload on the capacity report. This functionality includes the ability to estimate effort over time. See the example below.
With the new capacity planning (https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APP-I-594) it sounds like everything is still at the feature level. My team does not want to estimated things at the feature level, and would rather estimate at the release level. How much of the estimation for multiple teams will be able to be done at the release level?
