I want to set a lot of goals for the product and the product team. I associate these with iniatibes, which are like company / product objectives.
Iniatives can have dates (start & end), but Goals do not, just a text-based time frame. I would like to report all the goals I'm working on, and show when the team will be working on them, and report progress against their due date. I can currently do it the other way around - track initiatives, but in our setup all the iniatibes have the same timeframe - the next twelve months, so that is not useful.

I would like for there to be a standard Start date and Due Date field for goals since goals should be SMART. This way the goals would show-up natively in canned reports. I love the strategy Roadmap view but adding goals is pointless since they don't show-up on their due date. Instead they bunch up at the end of the initiative. I can't control goals on these canned reports.
