When using Products as a row value in the Roadmap Pivot Table, the products are ordered alphabetically. Is there a way for product managers to specify a unique ordering based on product importance within their portfolio (or some other arbitrary ordering scheme)?
For example, letting the product manager drag and drop the ordering would be wonderful!
Today we have delivered powerful new sorting capabilities for pivot tables, charts, and custom roadmaps. You can now build the perfect report and organize the view exactly how you need it. Check out the blog post for more details.
Yes, i would like to use one value for the swimlane header, then a different column to sort. For example Name for the swimlane, and feature rank for the sort order
Agreed. I would also like this functionality for the Timeline reports as well -- alphabetical sort on the first column (group) is rarely the order needed for display on a report. Thanks!
Priority needs to be the default sort on pretry much any report or view. For example, when you click on initiatives to see a list of features. This keeps coming up in presentations. We work so hard to prioritize stuff, and the view defaults to alphabetical. My 2 cents.
Reports just look strange when we can't set the order by priority, or even the order we want to highlight for a discussion/presentation.
Need it!
The ability to manually control display order for all facets of the Pivot table should be considered critical since this helps to convey criticality / importance when communicating with consumers of the roadmaps. Please extend the ability to control the display order to the rows, columns and cells of the pivot table.
