Kyle, I merged this idea with an existing idea which is requesting the same core idea. Regarding your specific use case, finding orphaned features, I would also suggest using the Hierarchy report as an immediate solution. If you've added initiatives and features into the report, those features with no initiative will be grouped together and easily found. Here is an article with more detail on how to use this report.
