As a VP of Product, I'd like to be able to generate a report that takes the initial creation date for a feature, the “delivered” or “deployed” date for a feature, and average that for all deployed features to see our average cycle time for features. My goal is to drive that cycle time down so that we're more responsive in the eyes of our customers.
Thank you for this idea. This is now possible using calculated columns.
Within a list report you can create the calculated column to calculate the difference between the ship date and created date. You can then switch the report type to a pivot if you need to calculate average across all of the records.
This support article provides more details on how to use calculated columns.
Measure cycle and lead time in Aha! Develop
Agile development teams can now measure cycle and lead time in Aha! Develop — so you can set delivery expectations with confidence.
I'd like to see cycle time across all work items. Features, to-do, etc.
I agree with Dave Tucker on this idea.
I am looking for the ability to create custom chart reports based on a feature's duration (how long the feature was worked), based on start date and due date or completion date fields.
My two uses cases, and there could be more, are to create a chart that shows the average count of days worked per feature for each month and a second chart that shows the average count of days worked based on feature status.
I'd like to see this but would want actual cycle times rather than averages but having calculation options of sum, count, average etc would be better.
This should als be available for releases not just features
