Allow you to reference/tag somebody but just show their first name

At the moment if you type @ and select a person it selects their whole name. It would be nice/friendlier to read if you could just show their first name.

    This is possible today. As you @ mention a user, you can click backspace to remove their last name (but still keep the link and notification).
