As a PM I would like to add badging capabilities to give incentive to external customers and prospective customers to submit new ideas and comment on existing ideas logged in AHA.

Offering extrernal ideation is worthless if people do not use the tool. If AHA provides comanies a way to reward end users through regonition for contributions based on volume, quality of detail, implemention success or other criteria users will be more likely to continue to share their problems, ideas for features or even implementation suggestions tht could be profitable to the company ad product team. This is a let's go already as other ideation tools already offer badging and gamification featuresthat my team is interested in using for ideation promotion.

    Admin Response

Thank you for the request. At this time, we do not have near-term plans for badging and gamification elements for the Ideas portal. This is primarily based on current priorities and historical feedback.

While we understand that in some cases, gamification may help, in this area, our sentiment is that it is part of the user community's desire to see the ideas implemented in your product for their benefit.

At this time, we will mark this idea as unlikely to implement. We hope you can understand.

I share the requirements that are expressed in this post. Gamification  is a great way to incentivise engagement and participation

I agree that this is large missing component of Aha! communities.  Since individuals already have the ability to create profiles, it would be great to have some kind of badge system or rank system where we can reward our power users for their efforts.  Most other communities have this in some form and Aha! is behind in this portion.
