Private - submit only idea portal

Our idea portal is for employees only,   embedded in an internal google site.  However we would like to have the ability to force users to register for the portal prior to creating ideas.  This way we can log who created the idea automatically, rather than relaying on the user t enter their contact info correctly.

 

At this time we aren't interested in having any voting,  so the private portal is not an option.

    You can implement SSO to achieve this or, if SSO is not an option, you can import Ideas portal users under "Import from CSV" in your product settings.

    I was thinking that SSO on the portal would be useful,   but to be honest that is managed at the corporate level and this idea portal is just for one set of products in one division, so i am not sure how easy that would be to implement.

    Do you have a single sign on system for you users, like Google authentication, active directory, etc? I am wondering if we could meet your requirement when we add expanded SSO support to the idea portals.
