Group features into master feature containers on gantt chart

Master features are used to group features that share a common business objective. They can be used to manage groups of features that reside in multiple products across multiple releases.

This idea is to be able to view master features as containers on the gantt chart -- similar to the current view that shows features in release containers.

  • The master feature container could be expanded or collapsed to see the features within it

  • There should also be some indication of when releases will occur, but the master feature container would not fall inside any one release

We just gave the Gantt chart a major upgrade. Get ready for a fresh look, smoother experience, new master features view, and more.

The master features view shows master features as the top level record, with the ability to expand them to see their related features.

This would be super-helpful.  Features are a bit too low-level for many people to bother looking into (we have tons in a given release) but showing Master Features only would be super handy.

I think we would get a huge amount of value from this idea. At the moment we don't use the master feature option because we are not able to organise our work in the gantt view. around this option, and end up using Releases phases, thereby breaking the link with JIRA.

This release was helpful, but it definitely needs also a filter for master features in the gantt view. Is this planned?
