The recent news field is just a notes type field. this does not work very well for tracking multiple news instances for a competitor over time. we currently repurposed the comments tab to track instances when a competitor is in the news. this works well as each article is logged as an individual instance that has a date and person who submitted it. it would be great if this concept could be formalized and then we can use comments for it original intended purpose and stop having to instruct our team to not use the recent news tab and instead use comments.
