Better filtering by product/workspace in the ideas portal

I just noticed that when you have a multiple-product portal, the filtering by product does not affect the filter status count. However, when you use the search text field, it does filter status and product/category counts. See attached screenshots.

From a customer’s perspective this is a little weird. We have quite an amount of products in our ideas portal, and there won’t be a single customer that has all of them. More likely they will just have one or two, so I’m looking for ways to get them a better experience within the portal.

I’ve already implemented the custom grouping via Javascript (as one great person commented here https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APP-I-2453), but it’s still cumbersome to get the right product and then stay with it. Try e.g. select a product, then use the search box and hit enter – the product filter is gone. So if I am a user wanting to only filter/search through the ideas of “my” product, I can’t really do that. This is a bit of a stopper to successfully introduce the ideas portal to customers and actually have them use it.
