When using a Gantt chart to create a sub-item (release phase, feature...) in a deliverable, if you add a phase for which the end date is after the end of the deliverable itself, nothing changes automatically in the deliverable.
You have to manually change the end date of the deliverable, and after that manually change the end date of the project. It would be great if the changes were automatic. A little extra bonus would be if there was also some kind of alert if you were trying to set an end-date for a deliverable that was before the end of the latest of its phases.

Just Launched! — Automatically Calculate Release Dates for Large Projects
Now you can automatically calculate when records in Aha! will start and end based on the date range of related work. Release's can be configured to automatically calculate their start/end dates from phases and features. Release's configured in this way will automatically update as you move phases or features on the gantt chat.
