I'm using the Feature Board to manage the set of features that are in plan for my product.
as-is:
I'm trying to organize the feature set for a given release. I'm using the features board with my team to prioritize the features in a given release.
OUCH! It's painful to use a 1-column list to manage the board where a release contains more than 8 features. I'm constantly having to scroll up-and-down the 1-column list to look through all the features of a given release. The team are complaining of dizziness, with all the scroll up-and-down that we have to do during the meeting using the Aha features board. The painful experience intensifies, if I have filters on (to look at select releases only) this leaves a tremendous amount of whitespace on the kanban board page.
to-be:
I'd like a delightful experience where I can expand/collapse the column of each release of the feature board to a size of my choosing, so i don't have to scroll off the page to look through all the features of a given release.
example:
Zenhub are a very good example of this in action. In this example, the solution provides an ability to to expand/collapse a git pipeline of work items to a view as I desire (see "Expand/Collapse pipeline"): https://help.zenhub.com/support/solutions/articles/43000031098-get-to-know-board-features-and-functionality
Thanks! This is a great idea. We will track customer feedback on it and consider prioritizing this in the future.
