When dragging features into release columns and/or when prioritizing features in the release board view, it would be very helpful to have access to bulk-edit features. The features board view already supports multi-select, would need to rig-up the edit.
This would allow a manager to quickly drag features into a release, assign to users and/or edit other custom fields, etc.
You can now right-click on records on the Features board for quick access to key actions like bulk edit.

Yes, i would like this as well. Using the list mode for bulk edit is a pain because you have to filter through products and releases. I'm working with many different products in a product line. I'd like to be able to multi select features, right click and assign a tag, workflow status etc on the feature board. The list view is great if you're working with a smaller number of items or you do bulk edits infrequently.
The "but you can do it somewhere else" is not an issue ... if that were the limitation, there are many actions that shouldn't be permitted.
The feature board page allows single-feature select & edit, but multi-feature release assignment. If you are working in the feature board page, you can add features, but there are no edit fields exposed in the add feature dialog. You then need to select the feature to make changes.
When scheduling a release, or bucket of work to be done, it could be very beneficial to say, "Let's work on these 5 features this week (drag to release) and assign them to Bob." (because in pure theory you haven't necessarily assigned users while in the backlog). I would love to be able to do this simple step in 1 window instead of 2.
As you mentioned, the Features Board page has the ability to multi-select and to prioritize features across and within releases. The Features List page also has the ability to bulk edit any features.
At this point, we're unlikely to make changes to the Feature Board page in this way to allow for bulk edits, as this was not the intended use of this page (and because the functionality is available through the List page, which we feel is a more appropriate place for it).
We'll mark this as unlikely to implement, based on the items above (along with our current focus and priorities), but will keep it open as we hear more from the community. I hope you can understand.
