I want to use the bulk edit tool to assign features to a release phase.

THANK YOU - I've just spent hours individually assigning features uploaded from CSV to individual release phases....
Max, Bulk edit is available on the List views for Features and Ideas. It's only visible if you select one or more items in the list (check box to the left). Hope that helps.
@Chris ... I can't find any bulk update functionality ... and they would be advantageous through the app ... but where are they ??

add direct to a phase from the release phase view ... with adding multiple features in one click :)
Currently you can assign features to a release via bulk edit, but you cannot assign features to a release phase.
We are currently working on drag and drop between release phases on the Releases -> Portfolio screen. This will also make it much faster to move features between release phases.
