The change on the Release Details view to 'Quick Links' instead of simply viewing the release-specific gantt, is not a user friendly view & causes extra workflow steps to see a View our team is used to inherently seeing on one screen. The best part of the details page was that in one snapshot, you could see everything pertaining to that specific Release without being overwhelmed by the Gantt Page view & now you have to click into a separate screen? I'm receiving a lot of negative feedback on this change.
Thank you for your feedback. Since the Gantt chart is typically a working view, we added the quick link as a way to view it in full screen -- where there would be more room to work.
With that said, we will continue to monitor customer feedback on this change.
In our organization, we weren't using the 'progress' view - so we now have an extra step to get to the gantt chart. In addition, we can no longer see the other details (projects goals, record links, etc) on the same page as the gantt - now need to use two browsers to see all the same information that we could before. Seems a step backwards.
