In new tickets, option that assignees in Activities are auto-assigned to the person who creates the ticket.

  Thank you for the idea. Given the low volume of support for this idea, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time. It is currently possible to set a default assignee from Workspace setting > Configure. This would be especially helpful in the use case you mentioned where it is just one user in the workspace. We hope that helps!
