Allow user to generate approvals when record is ready

What is the challenge?

In the fixed workflows for approvals, the approval is generated when the item enters that status. This is unnecesarily confusing and doesn't allow the user to indicate when a record is ready for that approval, unless you create a bunch of bucket statuses JUST to generate the approval.

What is the impact?

Reduces confusion on the creation of approvals when records are not ready; reduces the additional status steps required to create approval buckets.

Describe your idea

If you transition an existing record to a fixed workflow, the transition options offer the option to generate those approvals. I think this is a better workflow in some instances.

It would be great to set up a fixed workflow to have approvals either auto-generate or require the user to click 'generate approvals' when they are ready for that.
