In complex software development we often have features that require the coordination of changes across multiple software products. In these cases we create an Epic to represent the overall capability we wish to deliver, and place related features into the backlogs for each software product that needs to make a contribution. This is a very effective way to manage the dependencies.
However the action to establish the Epic + Features structure takes too much effort and is error prone. We would like the ability to establish templates that can streamline the process.
For example, I have 12 workspaces in a portfolio. I want to have a template that allows me to quickly create one Epic + 12 related features (one in each workspace) without having to iterate through the create process 12 times.
Hi Andrew, we appreciate your feedback. The details shared in the idea description were helpful and give us a clear picture of what you'd like to accomplish. Please let us know if there is anything else you'd like to see with this that you would like for us to also take into consideration?
I find it very inconsiderate when Aha product managers choose set the state on new ideas to "Future Consideration" without any consultation or feedback. Not even a comment!
Time to practice what you preach!
