It is hard to remember why I scored a feature a particular way - especially with respect to a single score on a scorecard that has ~10 scores on it. Even more importantly, other people (other POs as well as just reviewers) can't read my mind so it would be nice to be able to jot down notes with scores that I fell need explanation or justification, or just so I can remember what I was thinking at the time I did the scoring.
I agree with Michael Toose, it would be ideal if the system automatically provided a "rationale" box for each score, it seems overly complicated to add 10 custom fields when you have a score build upon 10 components.
In our specific case we're using this to rank competitors and we'd like to add feature bullet points for each ranking to highlight the key features we see they have the led to that rank
Hi Aha,
I have a similar request to the above, however I don't think I can complete it with a custom field. I have a number of metric in my score card such as acquisition increase as a %, available stock increase as a % etc etc. Each feature has the analysis done and a figure set, however some member from around the business will want an adjustment made to the specific metric for reason ABC. Moving back out to an unlinked custom field on the card is annoying and not tied. It would be good if a note field could be added to each metric for situations like this.
Cheers.
The best way to achieve this would be to create a custom field, perhaps something like "Score Rationale." In this field, you can provide additional explanations for your scoring for you or your team to refer back to at any time.
You can access custom fields by going to Product -> Custom Fields
