Improve watch e-mails: add daily digest option (in addition to blow-by-blow)

I would really love for this to be revisited and placed on the roadmap of enhancements. Because of the multitude of emails generated from the system, we have people filtering out emails and missing the work that they are needed to accomplish.
I am not sure if the request had a nice to have but we are now in the situation that we would really need this within a month.
Anything you can do to help us get this product enhancement would be great.
At minimum can you standardize the email headers to have the following prior to the detailed subject line:
> Commented:
> To Do:
> You're Tagged:
> You're Assigned:
> Status Change:
Ideally, the digest period would be configuable in the profile. Being able to specify hours, days, weeks would enable everyone to get what they need from the system. I would probably use one day to begin with, but during certain periods may use one hour if a lot of activity is expected. I never want an email for every single change though - unless the alternative is no emails at all.
C'mon, guys, it's well past time for this. The noise this site generates in my mailbox is ridiculous, but the system definitely provides a great outlet for gathering end-user info via votes and comments. Just a weekly digest would be perfect. Most other sites of this time, as well as most forums, have this ability.
This would be great for hands-on managers of a Product Management team who want to a summary of daily work without the change updates.
1) I'd like to see the new features and ideas in the "Your weekly roadmapping digest" email
2) The todo's of others in the "Your weekly roadmapping digest" email are not of my interest.
Please look at how Trello handles this. Screenshot attached. They basically batch up notifications and send a consolidated report as needed. It is 3 or 4 orders of magnitude easier to follow than the noise of the current Aha.io notification emails.
