Add Custom Fields to To-Do's

You are able to create custom fields for all record types except To-Do's. As an admin, I'd like to be able to create & apply custom fields to them by product in order to track & report on additional data points.
For example, I may want to tag/label my to-do's, flag risk, link to a record, etc.
