Allow Attachments to be added in reports

If someone included an attachment as part of their idea, we would like to include that as part of our reports as a link to the attachment.

On the idea portal, there is an ability attach files. However we can only view those files if we are looking at the idea within Aha.

Our use case: We are using Aha as part of our rolling quarterly planning process, which includes having execs review and provide feedback on the ideas they would like us to explore further.

* As part of that idea submission, we ask our product folks to identify any potential $$ impact and in some cases, they have detailed analysis to support that $$ impact.
* We have asked them to attach that analysis to the idea.
* We are pulling reports on the ideas for the execs to review. If someone has attached supporting docs of any type, we would like to share that with the execs w/o them having to go into each individual record. We want them to be able to get to the attachment from the report.

Is there any timeline for this capability - or any flavor of this that makes external reports with attachments more readily available to the report users? Any suggestions for workarounds?

    Hello,

It would be great if it would be possible to run a report only on Attachments which are embedded into Description field. As at the moment, since it is one field, there is no possibility to separate attachments from description.

    This would help a lot.

    Many thanks,

    Polina
