Email notifications for To-dos

I would like to see a custom feature implemented that allows the admin to customize what information is sent during an automated email notification . Many of our users get an email notification once a To-do has been assigned to them. The email contains very basic information and does not contain any specific information about the release until you click on the hyper link attachment. The way our company has set up our releases is by product line. Under these product line, contains dozens of separate releases. For the most part, many of our cross functional teams and program managers manger multiple product line and multiple releases at any given time. We would like the notification to show more information than just what product line it is related to. We would like to see what the actual To-do title is and what specific release it is tied to. This would allow our users less confusion when these notifications come in.

Thank you for the request. The email notifications are designed to make the recipient aware of the task (through details such as the to-do summary, description, due date, and the name of the parent record), then provide them with a quick way to access more detail. As noted, it is currently possible to click the link to get more detailed information regarding the to-do.

While we can understand the desire for the request, at this time, based on current priorities, historical feedback and existing functionality, we are unlikely to provide additional customization in this area. We hope you can understand.

Agree. The current infomration doesn't help too much. It would be nice to customize.
