Within a custom report, I would like to easily visualize the duration of each workflow status.

Within the duration bar displayed on the screen, it would be great to be able to easily visualize how long the release/feature/initiative "sat" in a various workflow status like the attached screenshot.
Similarly, it would be great to create a pivot report showing the actual dates it was in each status phase as well.

As a Product Manager, I want the ability to track the length of time each idea has been in a given status, and when it changes status, so that I can track my group's adherence to our committed SLA with our business users.
Our team created an SLA that each member of the team wants to adhere to. With ever changing priorities and increasing numbers of ideas coming in, this functionality would help us see how long each idea has been sitting and waiting so we have can take appropriate action to move them forward.
I have the same situation as Jerold's comment. I want to be able to do a report that shows a list of ideas with columns at the top by status, and in the data show the number of days the item has been sitting in each status. So I can see the item was a new idea for 10 days, under analysis for 15 days, in development for 5 days, etc. I would like to do the same with master features as well.

I have a field which captures the date an idea was moved into a status, but I want to know how long they have been in the current status for, and an average time in status [across all ideas] - this will give us an effective measure to use going forward..
As a Release Manager, I want to be able to "do some math" on the dates of ideas and features that are being considered for a release. Being able to include or exclude records based on their "Age" (time spent since creation, or in any other status) would be extremely useful - items older than 6 months need to be re-estimated, for example, while items younger than a week probably haven't made it through our vetting process.
As a Product Manager, I want to know how long an Idea has been in a current status. My scenario is as follows:
I have 200 ideas that have been submitted. Of the 200 ideas, 20 of them have not been reviewed, the other 180 have transitioned into other statuses. I want to know how long each of the 20 ideas have been "In Review". For that matter, I want to know how long any idea has been in their current status.
Another example is if the idea has been waiting on more information from the submitter for four months. In this scenario, I want to consider closing the idea. I can currently see when the idea was created, and I can see when the idea has had its status changed, but I cannot tell how long they've been in that status.
This use case could also be used for Features as well.
