For instance to indicate which budget holder / budget code a user is linked to.
If you are looking for custom fields on ideas portal users, also known as contacts, that is possible today with Ideas Advanced. This enables you to analyze ideas for different types of users and understand what matters most to them. Learn more.
This idea will remain open to track the need for custom fields on your internal Aha! account users.
I appreciate the admin response, but I definitely want this feature for managing additional details associated to the account users!
Seeing as there has been considerable number of votes over the years on this Idea, is there any plan from Aha!'s end to prioritize this into their backlog. If yes, what could be the tentative timeline for it's implementation?
All of the comments below for the years back are logical, same for me. I preside over cross departmental charging for ~85 Users and need some basic per sub-group partitioning capabilities. This, to me is an absolute basic need in scaled solutions. So the attention to this ask would be appreciated.
We need this feature in order to track and support users that work across business units whereby BUs are cross charged for users on an as-needed basis.
As an admin, this would allow me to create a custom field called "Department" to be able to determine which users below to which departments which helps us manage users and also budget for users by department.
This would be most beneficial as we can identify users by functional area. The need to put all of the Marketing To-do's on the same list would be beneficial as well.
I really need this feature so that I can identify the business unit of the user for management reporting. Can you let me know how likely it is that you will add this capability? It looks like this has been sitting here for a long time.
We want to add a custom field to capture the Delivery Stream to which the user belongs. This will help us track licenses by company.
It would be really nice to be able to expose a scorecard (custom field) for ideas. We use scorecards to assess the benefits (monetary, customer satisfaction, etc.) and cost (engineering, QA, risk). It would be nice to be able to marry that with votes for ideas (I mean in the scorecard calculation, optimally) in order to give users of the idea portal a better idea of whether an idea has chances of getting implemented vs. a manually updated status for the idea.
We would like to be able to identify which users in the ideas portal are members of our customer advisory board and which are members of our strategic advisory board. I would also like to see some way of highlighting ideas that have been submitted or voted on by one of these users.
