Predefined choice list custom field - allow entry of label => value pairs

At the moment when creating custom field of type 'predefined choice list', one can only input labels and values are generated based on them.

e.g. option label => option_label

It would be great to be able to define label => value pairs, e.g.
0 => low value
3 => medium value
5 => high value

Thank you for the request. There are a couple workarounds which may help with this use case.

One option would be use the labels (0,3.5) as the predefined choices. In the field description, you could provide additional information to indicate how each number maps to the value. This would then appear as a tooltip for the field.

It would also be possible to create choices in a format similar to "0 - low value" to communicate the choices as well.

At this time, based on current priorities, existing workarounds and historical feedback over time, we are unlikely to make updates in this area. We hope you can understand.
