Stop showing empty releases when I use the filter by release owner on the feature board

I use the feature board all the time. We have a product that has many releases and they are owned by different product owners. So I use the filter "filter by release owner" so that only my releases show up on the board so I can do all my management and prioritization of features and releases. However, it doesn't work very well. What it does is remove the *features* from the releases, but it does not actually filter by release, so I end up with a whole bunch of releases that clog up the board, and they show up as just empty headers. Just the release name is shown but no features underneath. I've attached a screenshot showing this.

I'd love to have just my releases show up, which I think is surely the intent of the "filter by release owner" filter!
