I would like to be able to publish notebooks created in aha to digital screens around our offices, this would cover customer stories, strategic roadmap and value statements to members of our internal teams. Whilst I can publish these to individual user groups, an auto-play facility that cycled through the notebook pages would allow these to display on screen without the need for my to separately create PowerPoint presentations with the same content.
You can now set Aha! Notebooks to autoplay and change how slides transition.
See how you can deliver the perfect presentation (without having to be there).
This is marked as shipped, but solving the original poster's problem is not really shipped. The thing that shipped requires the user to press the play button on all the screens. The original requester said he "would like to be able to publish notebooks created in aha to digital screens around our offices"
The feature should be enhanced so that if the URL includes something like ?autoplay=true in the query string of the URL, the slide show starts automatically upon loading, or to make that one of the notebook options.
Also, the blog post about this feature did not explain what happens with live view notebooks. Presumably, they will update without user intervention, but the blog post made it sound like the user must manually refresh/reload the page to see changes. If that is the case, to truly address the original poster's request, you would also need to have the ability to set an auto-playing presentation of the notebook to force reload every (interval) number of minutes.
