Add milestone to timeline report with vertical line across report

It would be helpful to be able to have milestones associated with initiatives. We are using initiatives to organize our projects. For the larger projects we would like to be able to track and show milestones. We also require certification of our releases so it would be good to have one deadline for software development and a second for the certification process

To echo other's comments, I use initiatives for a high level roadmap and stakeholders want to see this overlayed with key deliverables, which I've entered as milestones against the releases. Currently I have to produce two views, which makes the delivery of the presentation more awkward.

I want to be able to add Multiple milestones to the initiatives that are created on the aggregated view (Top level) and visualize those milestones on the initiative Bar. sadly I was informed today that the tool does not provide such a simple functionality. Why is that?
Also we would like the tool to aggregate the status of the parent card, coming from all the Child cards, the tool has limitations there as well.
This seems like a very basic feature in 99% of road mapping tools that's lacking.
I too would like to have a way to place markers on the timeline to indicate milestones, in my case to indicate sprints. Similar to the red vertical line that already appears to show the current date on the timeline.
It's not available on a Custom Roadmap. As well time frames, milestone to the custom roadmap view.
Following is a screen shot of what Milestones would look like in a Release view and if those Milestone indicators could be shared across Product Plans that each have Features identified against the same Master Feature - all the better! I think of a Master Feature / Capability as a Cross-functional Product / Program need that involves multiple Product Plans where a shared communication of key Milestones is of importance for all to see.
I thought about submitting another IDEA titled, 'a lost spec of a circle' on a Release View is NOT a Milestone. But, then I was directed to 2 related Ideas already open - this one & Call out a major deadline visually in Reports. Does Aha! plan to make an enhancement to milestone views anytime soon?
I am loosing teams interest in using Aha! as they can't see their important milestone dates that drive so many importance in their plans. I've opened several Aha! support tickets with questions about milestones and even mocked up screen views to show a milestone diamond starting at the timeline bar with a line drawn down the plan to show the significance of the milestone in our planning and provided that to Aha!
Aha!, please advise of this much needed enhancement.
Milestones as well as release dates would be optimal. Of course a release date is a milestone, but maybe release date is a different color line.
agreed, the admin response is missing the point. A milestone in this sense is a report with a vertical line that shows over the whole report a common event. Perhaps a holiday, perhaps a release date, perhaps a key company event. Can we please reopen the idea?
The admin response actually doesn't address what we are looking for. We would like to see milestones appear on the timeline report, perhaps as a vertical line.
