Allow use of custom date fields in the time frame of custom roadmaps

When configuring a custom roadmap, you can now select any custom date field to use on the timeline. In this example, 'Target date' is a custom date field that I had added to my custom field layout for features.

Status is shipped. Where is the solution?

I just ran into this same issue when trying to visualize the dates when goals are being worked on. Since the timeframe field is not formatted as a date, I would expect that date-based custom fields would be available to select as the time frame(s) when creating a custom roadmap.
