We create UX/UI mock-ups in Aha!, and I would likedevelopers to be able to see them after the feature is pushed into their Jira backlog. I noticed that both Aha! and Jira use Draw.io for mockups. Is there any way Aha! can upload mock-ups associate to a feature to Jira?
Currently the only workaround is to manually create a draw.io attachment in the Jira ticket and copy/paste shapes from the Aha! mock-up. This is very time consuming when pushing several features, and obviously does not account for changes.
Hi Gianmarco, thank you for the details. I can see the limitation now. I made a small tweak to the idea name and updated the status so we can monitor feedback. Thanks!
@Austin: thanks for your comment! Currently, I can send Aha! mock-ups to Jira as attachment, but they come out as pictures in Jira. This has a few problems:
Is there a way to link Aha mock-ups to Jira draw.io attachments that I am not aware of?
Thanks for the help!
Hi there, it is currently possible to send mockups as attachments to Jira. In order to do this, you will need to be sure you have mapped the attachment field in your integration field mappings.
As noted in the comment above, it is possible to map attachments (and mockups) on the main description field. There is an existing idea to also allow mapping attachments and mockups from custom notes fields here: https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APP-I-6348 We do not currently have plans to implement this idea, but we will continue to monitor feedback on that idea. We hope you can understand.
Thanks!
This is major integration deficiency - you are able to have Mock-Ups and attachments on ANY Aha! field - but only a dedicated "attachment field" can actually push field attachments into JIRA. I get negative feedback from my PMs all the time on this.
