With Enterprise+ we have the ability to group users for others to assist and track their own business unit's users. However, since we are using scripted updates to add/update users utilizing the API we cannot update that portion of the user's record. We need that ability so,as Admins, we don't have to touch every new paid user added.
No API to add users to paid seat groups is preventing IQVIA from automating user management of over 1000 users, making it difficult to push this out to additional teams.
Having access to Paid Seat Group would also help us automate management of our user licensing. and billing activities. Currently there are a lot of admins generating individual reports which have to be manually compiled with computations to generate the paid seat user allocations that are needed for billing. This parameter seems to be easily accessible with visibility to the paid seat group object which would greatly reduce administrative loading.
Equifax Planning & Execution team has a dashboard for standards governance based on Aha! data including the user dataset. We need to be able to automate data refreshes for the user data set, however, we need Paid Seat Group to be included because this field represents our business units.
Currently to get Paid Seat Group included with the data, we have to manually generate the csv via the user information Aha! UI and then manually update in the data source and data studio/looker studio where our dashboard is hosted.
We as an organization would greatly benefit from having this column added to the API.
Similarly absence of this is a blocker to us completely ofloading our access management to our corporate tool
