Able to limit Initiative creation to just promotion from Ideas

The Ideas Portal is a great way to manage what gets onto our roadmap.

Ideally, it would be great if we were only able to create initiatives when they are promoted from an idea. In other words, prevent the creation of an initiative in Aha! directly.

This would ensure a consistent intake process for all ideas.

Thank you for your idea. One option here would be to create a report to audit your initiatives. There is a field named Total ideas linked to initiatives which will help you to find initiatives that were created outside of your process. You can also add a filter using this field and select the Is blank option to find any initiatives with no ideas linked.
Given the option above and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
