Create a hidden product within a non-hidden product line

You can make a stand-alone product line that is hidden from users, but you can't hide a product within a product line that is visible to others. There are several reasons you may want to hide a product within a product line including:

• Planning end-of-life product activities for a product that already exists in a product line
• Planning confidential activities that need access restriction for competitive purposes for a product that already exists in a product line
• Stealth startup style work for a new product that makes sense as part of your existing product line

Having the ability to change users by product would be ideal.
