Allow Product Owners (not Admins) to configure/add sub Product Lines within Product Lines that they own

In our large organization, top-level Product Line owners should be able to add new, sub-Product Lines without needing Admin access. Admins have the power to change many global settings that could impact the work of others in the organization. I'd like to avoid giving Admin rights to everyone that manages a top-level Product Line.

As an example, our company consist of three divisions. Each division has a completely separate team of Product Managers, with little to no crossover/communication between them. We've set up top-level Product Lines for each division, and the owner of each top-level Product Line should be able to add new sub Product Lines within their "divisional" line. Currently, they can't unless they are an Admin.

    We do not plan to implement this idea given the very low volume of support historically. We hope you can understand.

    I endorse this one but see it is over 3 years old.... any update?

    A related issue is that whenever our Aha admin has to move products/restructure product line hierarchies, he has to delete and recreate the product lines, which results in a loss of all the data. Can a more forgiving solution be implemented so that the inevitable changes can be made without loss?

    Same issue - Product Line Owners should be able to add Products to the lines that they own.
