Content wise, the roadmaps that we can make in aha meets our needs pretty well. We can organize the work by goals, and themes, and by quarters. We can present status and any additional details we want to include. But, what we hear from our executives and clients is that it looks clunky and boxy (those colored icons aren’t helping). Basically, this roadmap is ugly. i can certainly dig up some example of a smoother, prettier, roadmap, but i am guessing you kind of know what i am getting at. Is there any effort to make a more attractive roadmap?
This would be amazing- the infomation from Aha is amazing but currently have to make it look 'pretty' for senior leadership seems like a missed trick from aha.
I agree. We use initiatives today and considering a custom table to customer facing roadmaps. The current notebook/presentation functionality is very limiting. Lack of controls make thing align properly, color, highlighting and so on. Alot of the aha roadmap are driven by dates. Hard to discuss a journey when the roadmap looks more like a plan than roadmap.
If implemented it would be great to have the option to choose between a few different styles.
Thanks for sharing these examples, Viktoria!
Sure, I just mean, prettier, rounded, shaded, more modern looking (info graphicy?) . This is entirely cosmetic (and probably stems from our corporate power point needs, which are not going away). I am always surprised that other folks would use the feature roadmap with those blocks connecting to a timeline in client presentations, because it is difficult to understand when you aren't looking at it every day.
for what it is worth, we use initiatives for our client-facing roadmaps.
