Whilst I understand the reasons for wanting to keep the Aha! Roadmaps interface fresh and useful, the latest Gantt chart UI update unfortuantely now looks confusing and busy.
The interface looks cluttered and busier than ever - See attached screenshot. It is very confusing trying to interpret what it is trying to show in even this simple example (Using latest Chrome browser at 100% scaling)
Progress either shows in progress circles AND Gantt bars or neither - make these individually filterable
Features have the prefix and the name - make the prefix filterable to save horizontal space
The Gantt bars are too rounded (which look imprecise) and makes the hard-edged diamond for the release date look out of place
The shape of a Gantt bar that contains child records looks really odd. Previous styling was great.
Depends on / dependency of relationships are now curvy lines with a new delete icon but nothing has changed functionally.
To make the Gantt chart truly great, instead of a UI refresh please consider:
Add feature filters to the Release Gantt view - https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-11179
Custom grouping options on Gantt chart - https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-12072
Multiple Dependency Definitions appear in Gantt Chart Report - https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-8785
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new Gantt chart refresh, even though it's not quite working for you. I've shared this feedback with the broader team that led this effort.
Regarding the screenshot with the jumbled bars, that was a bug caused by having a dependency to a roll-up release. We believe this is resolved now, but please let us know if that's not the case.
