Allow users to modify Gantt charts like they can other roadmaps (e.g. group sections by product or on a custom field; show additional data). Want to visualize dependencies in roadmap form, but Gantt charts get cluttered quickly...
Any movement on this? We have release category's that represent different outcomes for the business. This feature would be really usefully when presenting roadmaps to senior leadership, grouping by category's we can then go further into the detail of each release where applicable
This would be really ueful to be able to group features on a Gantt by a custom field. We use a custom field to identify the team working ona feature. I know we can do this in custom reports, but it would be a game changer to do this on a Gantt where we could also drag and drop edit the features in the Gantt. Other solutions offer this and the full blown capacity planning that Aha provides is too much, too clunky and too much of an overhead for our use case. This would provide a much easier (admittedly cruder) way for us to manage team workloads easily. There are other use cases to group by other fields too.
It would be great if the Gannt Chart could be customized to add a third row to show increments with naming (like sprints)
I would also keep the month and date rows when doing this, so that the same view could be used for two different audiences. Leadership and engineering teams that actually completing the work. In our case two week increments with custom naming would be ideal. That said the ability to show a custom number of days and naming for each of those sections would be fantastic.
What is the challenge? In Strategy/ custom roadmaps, there are no options to add custom columns in the Gantt view. What is the impact? When using the roadmaps in a strategy meeting, we need to navigate to each ticket to view the details. Describe ...
