Sync edited JIRA comment into Aha records

I am a JIRA user and I want my edited comments to appear in my linked Aha Record so that when I create a custom report this information is accurately reflected in JIRA

    Thank you for the idea!

At this time, we are unlikely to make updates in this area due to other competing priorities.
However, we will continue to monitor community feedback to better understand the overall need and prioritization against our roadmap. I hope you can understand.

We also need edited comments synchronized between Jira and Aha, as well as the user who made the edit.

Comments deletions are not synchronized either. We expect this to be synchronized as well.

I agree with everything said by these individuals. What is the point of a two-way integration if edited comments are not synced with Jira. This could cause issues between Product and Dev and could possibly create mis-communication, which in turn could have great impact with implementation.

I agree with Ross and Dave - what's the point of a two-way integration if you can't perform edits/updates (and deletes, should definitely allow delete (or mark a comment as deleted but keep it in Aha with an undelete option).

I agree with Ross and would add: our dev team uses Jira as their "single source of truth" as well as knowledge repository. They will enter comments while doing feature research. As their research and design evolves, they update the comment to reflect the newest thinking. From their perspective wouldn't make sense to enter a new comment everytime their thinking changes. From our side on Aha, it would be very confusing to see a long string of similar comments and not know why. Seems to be an easy, potentially high value change.

Information evolves and typos happen and occasionally edits are necessary. The ability for a member to make corrections to a comment and be completely unaware that their changes will never update between Aha!/Jira leaves a pretty big hole in communication. I understand and agree that this is a low frequency case. Yet, it has potential to create costly issues. Management and accountability of communication is one of my core expectations of Aha!
