Disable JIRA and Aha! Comment Sync

We are getting ready to share Aha with key stakeholders around the company, and we do not want to share the inside engineering chatter with the rest of the company.  We have comments in JIRA that should not be broadly available. I would like to be able to disable comment sync altogether.

We have launched an enhanced Jira integration. This integration will allow you to explicitly enable and disable individual field mappings including comments, along with several other new capabilities including the ability to:

    • Set record mappings for Aha! initiatives, releases, master features, features, and requirements and link them to nearly any corresponding record type
    • Map default or custom fields in Aha! to any “like” field and specify which direction the updates should flow (e.g. from Aha! or from Jira)
    • Automatically send outgoing changes from Aha! or choose to review and approve them
    • Import records directly from Jira to make getting started in Aha! easy
Check out the blog post for more details.

This is extremely important for us as well.  We are planning to use Aha! with external customers as well.  We are happy to create a custom field, if needed, to capture communications with customers and Executives.

I'd actually like to extend this idea to also allow disabling the sync of JIRA Attachments.

We've started to land external clients, and want to allow them visibility into Aha for progress. As such, this has suddenly become a very desirable feature.

    I agree with this request.
