What is the challenge? |
Automations are awesome. Being able to have a series of to-dos that pre-populate help ensure consistency. BUT. To-dos created by Aha! automations are a bit of a black hole. No one is notified when the assignee completes OR adds a comment to the to-do. It makes the automation useless from a productivity and workflow transparency standpoint. |

It would be helpful to either have the person assigned to the overall feature receive a notification or have the option to add a "watcher" to the automated to-do when you update the due date and assignee. |
I agree with the above. Also, not being able to show who the to-do is "from" (the assigner) causes confusion for assignees. Unless they check the history, it's unclear who has created and assigned the to-do to them.
This is true of automated to-do's, and also if one person fills out and assigns a to-do originally created by someone else (assignee will often assume the to-do 'creator' is who made the request, even if someone else filled it out).
