Would like to have a simple To Do widget in whiteboards

What is the challenge?

As we go through the whiteboard, we may have actions that should be to dos. I don't see a simple way to do that, and there isn't a template/tool to add for this. My attempts to add my own personal To Do view into the whiteboard keeps failing
