Allow breakdown by Team for Detailed Estimates
The Initial Estimate Field of Epics and Features allows breaking down the effort values by Team. However, the Detailed Estimate Field does not allow effort to be broken down by team. You can only enter a value, but you cannot assign it to a specific team (the ticket gets automatically assigned to the ticket owner). We would like to be able to break down the effort by team on the Detailed Estimate field as normally our epics are big enough to need the collaboration of different teams/team members.
The detailed estimate is always associated with the assigned user.
If you'd like to break down the work at the feature level, we recommend creating requirements for each team/team member who will be doing that subsequent work. You can then have the feature roll-up that work by setting the "Use requirements estimates" button.
From there, you can select the "View team estimate" button. This will give you a breakdown of each assignee's team and how much effor they're committing at the team and individual level.
